  The specialities below are normally completed in 2 dives, unless you have already chosen it as part of your Adventure Dive training. In that case you only need to do 1 dive.

  Peak Performance Buoyancy

  Excellent buoyancy control is what makes a qualified diver! Thanks to this mastery, you’ll be able to

  • reduce your effort
  • use less air
  • move in 3 dimensions thanks to your breathing
  • observe the world more easily without disturbing the environment.

  You can do it too. The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course takes the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver to the next level.

  PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers and above, at least 10 years old, can take the Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course.

  Theory courses (PADI e-learning and/or classroom courses) and PADI certification fees are included in the price.

  Boat Diver

  If you’re new to boat diving or want to learn more about diving from different types of boats, sign up for the PADI® Boat Diver course.

  During two dives with an instructor, you’ll learn nautical terminology, boat diving guidelines and practice using lines and/or a surface marker.

  Theory courses (PADI e-learning and/or classroom courses) and PADI certification fees are included in the price.

  Digital Underwater Photography

  Underwater photography is a really powerful tool. How do you bring back sublime images from your dives? How do we share our memories with family and friends?

  These are some of the main reasons why the Digital Underwater Photographer course should be your next speciality course.

  • You’ll take better photos
  • Speed up your learning: professional-level tips, tricks and techniques for successfully capturing marine life through online learning and 2 instructor-led dives. Topics covered include reducing flare, using underwater flash and choosing the right equipment.
  • You’ll learn how to use your own equipment if you already have it. If not, we can provide you with a camera.
  • You’ll improve your photography on land: working in the fluid, light-limited environment of the ocean requires a good understanding of photographic elements such as lighting techniques and shutter speed. The transient marine life and ever-changing conditions will also enhance your ability to compose and shoot in seconds. Take this knowledge ashore and see if your new techniques can improve your photos on the surface.
  • You’ll learn more than photography skills: you’ll be a better diver!

    • Better Buoyancy Control – To find the patience and control you need to take high quality shots, you need good buoyancy control, whether you like it or not. If you want to focus on this you can do the Peak Performance Buoyancy Speciality.
    • Better fish identification – When it comes to sharing your work, it’s good to tell people what they’re looking at. This may involve scouring the internet to find the correct identification of a fish you’ve never seen before.

  This course is open to children aged 10 and over.

  Underwater Navigator (Orientation sous-marine)

  Finding your way underwater is not a matter of luck!
  The Orientation (Underwater Navigator) speciality teaches you to use the tools of the trade: relief, the sun, distance judgement and the compass to find your way underwater and, above all, to find your way back to the boat.

  Mastery of navigation: Become a competent diver capable of precise underwater navigation.

  Increased confidence: Navigate new dive sites with confidence and explore with precision.

  Intelligent exploration: The art of navigation will help you get the most out of every dive by guiding you to points of interest.

  PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers (10 years and older) can take the Navigation Specialty course.

  Night Diver

  Light diving is an extraordinary experience!

  The rays of light in the darkness bring a fantastic sense of excitement and adventure to the underwater world.

  However, night diving requires a great deal of coordination and skill, special techniques that this course will prepare you for.

  The PADI Night Specialty course will immerse you in a whole new world as you watch the site come to life by the light of your dive light. The scene changes as the flora and fauna changes at night.

  You will learn:

  • The organisation, procedures, planning and risks of night diving.
  • Appropriate procedures for controlling buoyancy at night.
  • How to start, exit and orient yourself underwater at night.

  PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers or higher, 12 years of age or older, can take the Night Diver Specialty course.

  Note that if you have already completed the Adventure Dive Speciality, you only need to do 2 dives (not 3) to get certified.

  Theoretical training (PADI e-learning and/or classroom courses) and PADI certification fees are included in the price.

  The speciality below is normally completed in 4 dives, unless you have already chosen it as part of your Adventure Dive training. In that case you only need to do 3 dives.

  Deep dive (40 metres)

  The lure of the deep. There’s something fascinating and mysterious about exploring deeper dive sites. Sometimes it’s a wreck that draws you beyond 30 metres, or along a drop off, it could be a huge gorgonian or a giant sponge.
  You will learn the :

  • Experiment with planning and organising four dives under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.
  • Techniques for diving from 18 to 40 metres.
  • Equipment considerations for deep diving.

  PADI Adventure Diver (or higher) divers 15 years and older can take the Deep Dive Specialty course.

  Note that if you have already completed the Adventure Dive Specialty, you only need to do 3 dives (not 4) to get certified.
