  The Advanced Open Water course allows you to dive to a depth of 30 metres anywhere in the world.

  The course consists of

  • 1 theory session at the centre
  • Help and support with your e-learning course
  • Completion of 2 Knowledge Reviews for the Adventure Dives you have completed
  • 2 technical Adventure Dives to choose from:
    • High performance buoyancy
    • Digital Underwater Photography
    • Boat Diver
    • Deep dive -> MANDATORY
    • Underwater Navigator (Orientation) -> MANDATORY
    • Night Diver (12+)
    • Fish Identification
    • Search and Recovery
    • Drift
    • Wreck

  Theoretical training, virtual classroom and certification are the responsibility of PADI and are not included in the price.

  However, we will give you a 20% discount on your PADI e-learning.

  Please note that the Advanced Theory course is a continuation of the Adventure Diver course. You don’t need to buy it again if you’re already an Adventure Diver.

• Scuba Diver

  Nature Essentielle Padi dive Resort offers you the opportunity to start your training.

  The Scuba Diver is the first step towards the Open Water. Shorter than the latter, it’s ideal if you’re short on time.

  Open Water allows you to dive anywhere in the world to a depth of 12 metres under the supervision of an instructor.

  The course consists of

  • 1 theory session at the centre
  • Help and support with your e-learning course
  • 3 training dives:
    • 2 technical training dives in a protected environment
    • 1 exploration and training dive of at least 40 minutes in a natural environment

  Theoretical training, virtual classroom and certification are the responsibility of PADI and are not included in the price.

  However, we will give you preferential rates for your PADI e-learning. (20%)

  Please note that the Scuba Diver Theory course is the first part of the Open Water Diver course. The elearning is therefore valid for both certifications.

    • 2 exploration and training dives of at least 40 minutes in a natural environment

  This course leads to the ANMP-École de Plongée Française Level 1 certificate (PE20 diver qualification), which certifies that you have acquired the skills required by the French Sports Code to dive to a depth of between 12 and 20 metres under supervision.

  Minimum age: 12 years

  This training course includes:

  • 1 theoretical session at the dive center
  • 4 technical training dives in confined water
  • 2 training and exploration dives of at least 40 minutes in open water

  Training objectives :

  • Control of propulsion and stabilisation.
  • Control your ascent speed and maintain a decompression stop.
  • Know the signs and how to react to them.
  • Master communication with teammates.
  • Integrate into a guided group with mutual supervision.

  Abilities to acquire:

  1. Control your ascent and descent under the supervision of a guide.
  2. Empty your mask between 0 and 20 metres.
  3. Check your air autonomy.
  4. Ask for and receive help from the supervisor.
  5. Work in a supervised group.
  6. Control your ascent from less than 20 metres under the guidance of a supervisor.
  7. Adapt his/her equipment and entry into the water to the different conditions that may be encountered during the planned dives.
  8. Master different diving techniques.
  9. Use all the vents and inflation systems of the stabilising jacket in different situations.
  10. Maintain your level of immersion and stabilise your trim with your buoyancy control jacket.
  11. Understand and interpret international and conventional communication codes.
  12. Participate in your own assistance.
  13. Understand the regulatory framework in which he/she practices.
  14. Move around easily while snorkelling.
  15. Be able to reach the safety point specified by the instructor (capped or pushed boulder).
  16. Be able to ascend safely if you lose your group.

• French level 2

  This course is in 2 parts:

  • PE40: supervised diver to 40 metres (minimum age: 14 years)
  • PA20: autonomous diver to 20 metres (minimum age: 16 years)

  PE40 – Adaptation to deep diving techniques

  Training objectives :

  • Control the rate of descent during immersion.
  • Maintain a decompression stop with a parachute.
  • Know the specific signs at this depth and be able to react quickly.
  • Master a safe ascent in case of loss of the group.

  Abilities to acquire:

  1. Adapt your equipment to deep diving.
  2. Follow the descent procedure defined by the guide along a line.
  3. Descend in open water following the dive guide.
  4. Maintain a regular and constant speed throughout the descent.
  5. Stabilise in open water without touching the bottom.
  6. Recognise and communicate personal difficulties.
  7. Communicate and respond effectively to dive signs.
  8. Manage your ascent (speed and verticality) without the aid of a line.
  9. Make a decompression stop in different situations.
  10. Assimilate elements of theory:
      • Ascent procedures for deep diving
      • Risks and prevention in deep diving.

  PA20 – Adjustments to medium depth autonomous diving techniques

  Admission to the qualification:

  • Minimum age: 16 years
  • 10 open water exploration dives after the PE20.
  • 6 open water exploration dives after the PA12.

  Divers who are at least 16 years old and who can prove that they have the skills required for the PA20 are authorised to dive autonomously from 0 to 20 metres by decision of the diving instructor (article A322-88 of the French sports code).

  Training objectives :

  • Control the rate of descent during the dive.
  • Maintain a decompression stop with a parachute.
  • To be familiar with the specific signs at this depth and to be able to react quickly.
  • To master a safe ascent in case of loss of the group.

  Abilities to acquire:

  1. Take into account the equipment used by your team-mates.
  2. Find your bearings underwater and follow the route indicated by the divemaster.
  3. Work in a group with buddies of the same level.
  4. Respect the dive characteristics defined by the divemaster.
  5. Consider and follow the recommended ascent procedure.
  6. Ascend to the decompression stop, stabilise and signal using a decompression ‘parachute’.
  7. Recognise the difficulties of a buddy and assist him/her to safety.
  8. Develop your theoretical knowledge of :
     • the aquatic environment,
     • Divers’ personal equipment,
     • Diving risks and how to avoid them
     • Ascent procedures,
     • the legal framework of diving.

  If you are at least 16 years old, you will be awarded the ANMP-École de Plongée Française level 2 certificate.

  As a qualified diver ★★ you will be able to:

  • Dive under supervision within the 40 metre limit.
  • Or dive independently between 0 and 20 metres.
