An immersive nature camp for children

The Baou Tribe Camp immerses children in a nature-based adventure, where they explore the outdoors, build autonomy, and learn through group experiences in a safe environment.

Outdoor activities inspired by tribal life

Kids take part in outdoor activities such as simple constructions, nature observation, group games, and soft bushcraft skills, always adapted to their age and abilities.

Learning autonomy and teamwork

Learning by doing together

The camp encourages cooperation, communication, and initiative. Children learn to work as a team, solve problems, and respect others and nature.

Environmental awareness and respect

Activities include environmental education, helping children understand ecosystems, wildlife, and the importance of respecting the natural world.

A safe and meaningful outdoor camp

Supervised by qualified instructors, the Baou Tribe Camp offers a secure, enriching experience that combines adventure, nature learning, and strong educational values.

Activities

During the summer holidays, join the Baou tribe for 5 unforgettable days and one unforgettable night!

Departing from the village of Saint-Jeannet in the Alpes Maritimes, our children meet every morning to go to their camp on the banks of the river.

Sporting activities are on the agenda as well as camp building! It's up to everyone to use their creativity and ingenuity to build the strongest and most comfortable habitat together.

The ultimate reward: a good night's sleep on Thursday night!

You'll also learn to work as part of a team. Alone we go faster, together we go further" could be the motto of this course.

Sharing, laughing, respect, tolerance, going above and beyond: these are the values we want to pass on to your children during these 5 days and 1 night of training.

Games, camp building, discovery, sports challenges, riddles, orienteering, etc.

Private tree-climbing area set up on site, just for the children, in a natural environment (zip wire, monkey bridge, etc.).

D3*: Compass/Map training & Orienteering
D4*: Introduction to survival - setting up camp - bivouac
D5*: Erasing the human footprint

*Programme and dive sites subject to change due to weather conditions.

Supervision is provided by :

Qualified climbing and/or canyoning instructors (DEJEPS Climbing/Canyoning)
Qualified mid-mountain guides with a DEJEPS in mountaineering
Sports trainers with a STAPS & BEES1 fitness certificate

Accommodation and catering

Accommodation: YES (Thursday night in cabins only)
Thursday evening meal, breakfast and Friday lunch are provided by Nature Essentielle.

Bus transfers are AUTONOMOUS on the Azur lines. Our meeting point is at the end of the Azur 54 bus line.
